Welcome to the go Beyond the Data podcast

I am thrilled that you are going to be guest on go Beyond the Data!

To help you prepare for your interview, I’ve included some sample questions including rapid fire questions that I often ask. We won’t get through all of these and I try to tailor the interview to you and the flow of our conversation. If there are specific areas or questions you have in mind then please email me.

My goal is to have a coffee-shop conversation together that others get the benefit of listening in on and learning about you and from your expertise. If you are interested in learning about some prior conversations you will find a few samples below after the interview questions.

Logistics to be aware about:

  • Each recording lasts between 30-60 min.

  • Once you schedule podcast (below) you will get a calendar invite.

  • Recording link will be emailed to you in advance at same email from Squadcast and also added to calendar invite.

  • Have a separate microphone or headset and be in a relatively quiet place for recording. Ideally you have a video camera (built-in is alright) because it makes it more personal. We can each see each other’s facial / body expressions and generally just have a more energetic conversation.

  • During the podcast please shut down any unnecessary programs and silence cell phones and any noise that may be hard to edit out. We do light editing including removing some crutch words and out of place sounds that we can.

  • Before releasing the episode we will send you an episode link and a transcript of the interview along with a social media card you can use to let others know about episode. We will also tag you on LinkedIn when podcast is released.

Follow up if you have any questions at all by emailing me, Dave Mathias
